Summer "holidays"

Summer, Crete, 38C... And what did I do? I was working of course! I really did want my parents to be paying for me just to have fun all the three months. So, I started by working at Hersonisos, one of the most touristic places in Greece, renting cars and motorbikes. It was kinda like stealing from the tourists but that was my job. It was really fun (not the stealling) and I didn't really do much. The worst thing was that I was staying under the sun for many hours, so I quickly got a good tan. But of course only arms, neck and face (what is better called "the builder's tan"). I quit my job in less than a month as I could not stand the boss. And as it was not a job that I would care for, I didn't even think about it.
After that I started restoring an old warehouse at my village, that I was supposed to do it with my father, but of course he went on holidays, just for a month. Therefore, I ended up doing most of the work just my self. Unfortunately, I spend most of my holidays doing that; at least I can say later on smiling full of proud: "Do you see that? I build it!"
I managed to finish of just before the midle of August. So, I went on holidays, for almost a week. Where? To Athens! Most of people were leaving from there, but I was going. I am just a mess. I went on holidays, in the middle of August, in Athens! Just stop a minute and think about it. Anyway... I wanted to see my friends, or at least some of them. All these people I met in Aberdeen and I really need to spend some time with from time to time; I just love these guys! Well, the best part was the three days I spent at Pylio! The most beautiful place I've been to so far! I just can't talk about it, 'cause there are no words to describe it. I am definitely going again next summer. Of course the holidays are finishing by coming back to Scotland. The cold , windy and rainy Edinburgh (but that is the last time).
